2011 6.7L F250 King Ranch with 118k miles.

Customer states: I am having a lot of black smoke out of the tailpipe and the truck is lacking power. I believe my turbo to be failing.

I popped the hood to find a common failure point on the 6.7L glaring at me for help. After inspecting for the broken/missing parts of the charge pipe, I was able to bring the customer good news. Turbo is in tact with all pieces being accounted for and found throughout the engine bay, nothing was ingested thankfully.

Dorman happens to save the day again as they produce an upgraded version made of high temp silicone couplers and aluminum piping. This failure will most likely never happen again! 🚗💨🔧💪

2006 Pontiac Vibe
Customer states:
I hired a mobile mechanic who lives near us in Holiday Island to diagnose my car but I am not sure if they are correct in their Diagnosis, can you verify and repair?

Absolutely we can!
Upon arrival the customer stated the driver side CV Axle needs replaced. We do some quick diagnosing to find that the previous diagnosis was completely incorrect and not only was the other machanic wrong but they left the customer with 3 loose lug nuts, one lug tight and the other with a socket practically now ajoined to one of the lugs, all of which are completely mangled and in need of replacement.

Come to find out the problem is a wheel bearing on the passenger front axle. I am not sure how bad you have to be at turning wrenches but this is unnacceptable and not an easy miss. Not only was the other mechanic wrong in their diagnosis but they threw safety out the window too.

A few hours later, this car is ready to drive again, with a new wheel bearing, hub, and a new set of lugnuts on each wheel.

I generally don't throw shade on other mechanics for their misses but when you don't care about your customers safety, something has to be said about it.

Rodents managed to chew up the wires leading to the starter! 🙄
Customer decided to go ahead and do a service since it had been 3 years since it was last done.
Oil change, coolant flush, and a fresh battery later, this tractor was ready to go back to work!

2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LS "SS" 4dr

Transmission Flush, Filter, and Gasket.
Front Lower Control Arms, Sway Bar Links, and Rebuilt the calipers with new pads. This car is pretty clean for its mileage! It even has a interior swap out of a Supercharged Cobalt SS!
