Auto Glass Technician

Brian’s Auto Glass, Inc. is seeking a dependable, motivated, and customer-focused Auto Glass Technician to join our growing team.
We are a locally operated auto glass company serving Michigan’s Upper Peninsula from locations in Escanaba, Chatham, Negaunee, and Iron Mountain. We're growing!! We specialize in professional auto glass repair and replacement, mobile service, and advanced ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration.

Position Responsibilities
As an Auto Glass Technician, you will be responsible for providing professional auto glass services both in-shop and at customer locations.
Primary responsibilities include:
Remove and replace windshields, back glass, door glass, quarter glass, and other automotive glass on a wide variety of vehicles.
Perform professional windshield chip and rock-damage repairs.
Inspect vehicles before and after service and properly document existing conditions.
Follow proper installation procedures, manufacturer specifications, and applicable safety standards.
Maintain a high level of workmanship while working efficiently and productively.
Perform or assist with static and dynamic ADAS calibrations according to OEM procedures and specifications.
Properly operate and maintain auto glass, diagnostic, and ADAS calibration equipment.
Complete required service, installation, and calibration documentation.
Provide mobile auto glass service and safely operate company vehicles.
Communicate professionally with customers and explain repairs, replacements, ADAS calibration requirements, warranties, and safety considerations.
Identify additional customer needs and opportunities for appropriate services.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Properly care for company tools, vehicles, equipment, and facilities.
Work cooperatively with CSRs, technicians, management, and other team members to provide an outstanding customer experience.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, professional, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Preferred qualifications include:
Previous auto glass installation experience preferred.
ADAS calibration experience or certification is a plus.
Automotive, collision, mechanical, or related technical experience is beneficial.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
Excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Willingness to learn new vehicle technology, installation procedures, and ADAS systems.
Ability to safely lift and handle automotive glass and equipment, including items weighing approximately 50 pounds or more.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic.
No Auto Glass Experience?
