Not my favorite job. Hood latch broke. Now I have a 5 gallon bucket of glass. Lots of vacuuming too. On these, I run the defrosters full blast, and blow air in the vent. I don't want glass fragments blowing out on my customer after I leave

I felt bad that this young man had to pay for a windshield that was broken due to a hack installation. The glass was sitting on this bracket. Urethane bead was sloppy, and way too thin..

A customer's hood safety latch was bent, and wasn't latching. Also, I love saving shipping materials. They come in handy when you're working in tight spaces.

Many insurance companies use Safelite Solutions to administer auto glass replacement claims. When you call in a claim, or initiate it on line, they use wording to steer you to use Safelite Auto Glass. This has been disconcerting for all of us independent shops for years. My shop has been an affiliate of the network for decades. I am able to receive claims, and electronically bill invoices. All you have to do is request my shop. The referral will be sent to me, including pricing discounts that I have agreed to.
