I saw this crazy custom made canopy today. Made from a late 90s Pathfinder roof and back doors. I'm unsure why they didn't just use a nitmal canopy. Pretty sweet though. What do y'all think?

This is simply a post remembering my wonderful dog Rufus. He passed almost a year ago, and my life hasn't been the same. I miss him every day. Eleven years together just wasn't enough for me.

If you have a dog, go hug your dog. They aren't here forever.

Made good progress on Matt's Hornet wagon yesterday. Got accessories, radiator and exhaust all removed. Not too much left and we can hoist out the 304. Then I'll freshen up and install the 360 we sourced last weekend.

Stay tuned for more. He is excited for it to be more powerful, and I'm excited to make it look nicer after that so we can be ready for the local car show in August.

I'm trying to make a mini fleet of 70s vehicles there with friends. Should be awesome having his Hornet, my Volare and Corbans Thunderbird all lined up with possibly more if summer goes well. 🤠😁

Today's tiny car photos is inspired by my friend Daniel. He has a true love for the vintage stuff even when beat up a bit. This is a 1970s or 80s Hot Wheels I've had a few years. Iconic hot rod recipe. Would you drive it? I would.

What do y'all think about my custom grill idea? I would have to remove one bar entirely, and v notch the back of bars to bend to grille shape. I could also cover the marker lights, if I trimmed another bar for above them. I think I'd rather just do the center though. These grilles are too hard to find, and I'm not going to spend hundreds to replace it. I wanna use this unique old aftermarket grille a friend gave me last year.

What do y'all think though?

Been working on my parts car Volare today. Finally beat the door open, latches were rusted solid. Doors are crusty, quarters are crusty, lots of rust. This thing is gonna get cut up, it's too far gone to save.

Anybody need parts from a Super Coupe? Most the trim is good, and most interior in usable shape. The seats have rusted off the sliders, so I guess they won't be usable without repairing lol. Probably still clean them and use until I find something better.

I'll update y'all as I make more progress. I was excited the door opened finally. Small wins are still wins.

I have another photoshop/AI request from y'all. I'm debating redoing the lower brown section of my Volare in turquoise, specifically the same color I did my Jeep wheels here.

I wanna find some kinda upper stripe or graphic I can also add, trying to go for sort of a southwest natural colors theme it's what the car is telling me it wants to be. I'll do Indian blanket seat upholstery and a couple accents, and a paisley suede headliner. That all seems like a very late 70s theme to keep.

I dunno, what do y'all think? I'm open to style ideas, and I'll get better photos of Volare if needed. I've only owned it a week, and I'm bouncing around on a million things lol.

Thanks everybody. Much love. 🤙😁🤠

Who wants to see this truck make comeback? Yesterday working on the Wagoneer engine removal made me wanna drag this truck out and get it driving. I'm unsure what engine combo to put in. It's on a '78 Hilux 2wd frame so I could bolt 20R right in, but I kinda wanna finally put my fresh 307SBC into it. I used XJ column and shaft adapted to Hilux box, and that's an Astrovan third row bench seat. Some may recognize these wheels, they're on my Volare now. These Jeep pics are few years ago, nohing has changed since except the wheels lol.

I have always called this truck Klinger, after the MASH character. They're both from Toledo Ohio, they're both quirky, and they both wear the strangest outfits. Plus this truck was owned by a veteran for decades after he retired from service.
