Nothing beats a desert sunrise to start your day and an epic sunset to wind down after a full day of climbing or exploring Hueco Tanks. 🌄

As another incredible season comes to a close, we just wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who stayed, climbed, explored, laughed around campfires, and made memories with us at Gleatherland.

These views never get old. From golden sunrises over the desert to quiet evenings under endless Texas skies, this little corner near Hueco Tanks continues to remind us why we love this place so much. 🌵☀️

Gleatherland will be CLOSED for the months of June and July as the desert heat rolls in, but we’re already counting down the days until cooler temps, campfires, starry nights, and another amazing climbing season ahead.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back this fall for more adventures, and more unforgettable desert sunsets. 🧡

The Pink Bench. Many stories have been told about this iconic landmark, but the truth may surprise you.
The most notable rumor being that it was a drop off point for coyotes smuggling immigrants across the US border. The truth is it was put up by a local family for their grandmother to rest on her daily walks.
Over the years it has become special spot for many Hueco Tanks visitors to snap photos and has even earned a place on Google Maps.

Sadly the tree fell today, but the bench remains a special place for Hueco visitors.

It’s always a bummer when you’re climbing day gets ruined by the rain, BUT the truth is rock is fragile afterwards. So the TWPD has issued a much needed rule of 24 hours of no climbing after rain. Guess you’ll just have to take this opportunity to binge watch climbing p**n or do something productive. 🤪
