One of my favorite tools..I made these to quadruple my cutting output with 1” solid round bar for my pinion tool production. Ended up making a whole system that works with tons of different stock and group sizes.

There’s always that one guy… 😂

And you know what? He’s not wrong.

You don’t NEED my tools to get the job done. People have been doing these jobs the old-fashioned way for decades.

But just because something works doesn’t mean it can’t be improved.

That’s why I started 4Link4WD. To find solutions to everyday frustrations, save time, and make life in the shop a little easier.

And seriously, I welcome the questions and criticism. That’s how better tools get made.

The things we do for our doggos 🐶

Max wasn’t happy that he couldn’t freely come and go in the shop, so naturally I installed a doggy storm door for him.

Works out next that I have a screen door now too, and can keep some bugs out while getting fresh air.

The finishing touch will be a stainless steel kick plate under the entry door that wraps down over the edge. Just need to clear off the plasma table first 😂

I made this setup to quickly prep round bar for my tool manufacturing. It’s allowed me to increase prep speed by literally 10x.

The cool thing is, it’s useful for so many purposes: Chamfering, surface clean up, polishing, weld prep, and even for welding.

They can live tucked away, under your work bench, and transform the table top into a processing center in seconds.
