So, let's get into the funny story. Darrell's phone case is magnetic. So it will stick to metal objects. He thought it was a great idea to stick it to the bottom of the bunk bed in our stateroom so he could play games on his phone and check messages.

Well the phone came down and the corner hit perfectly in his eye socket and you can see what it looked like on day two. That hurt. But here we are on a ship in the middle of the ocean. He took the opportunity to tell a different story about his eye to many people who asked about it. He told them the real story afterwards of course, but you should have heard some of his stories!

Ask him when you see him! 🤣

We're back!
We snorkeled the reef and a shipwreck in the waters of Roatan, Central America.

In Belize, we ziplined through the rainforest and explored and swam in a cave that was used by the Myan people many centuries before us

We took a glass-bottom boat tour in Costa Maya.

We spent every waking hour absorbing all the fun we could pack into our trip!

Can we talk for a minute?

Many who know Emily and Darrell, you know that we are close. Like inseparable close! There is no time in our marriage that we yearn for time apart. She truly is my (Darrell's) best friend.

We never get to take a vacation in the summer because we are always doing everything we can to make your vacation as perfect as we can possibly make it. But this week.... This week is when Emily, Lilly, and Darrell get to go places and for lack of a better term, we get to re-center our relationship and enjoy each other. It's something we look forward to every year.

We won't be returning until Sunday, October 4. But our trip so far has been nothing but pure enjoyment and fun!

I wish we could express how blessed we are to have such a relationship. We hope and wish you that same relationship. If you aren't experiencing this agape type of love in your relationship, let us urge you to take the steps to get there!

Both you and your spouse ARE worth the extra mile! You both deserve to be happy! God didn't intend for a marriage to be one of turbulent and cyclonic waters and skies. Sometimes the only way to retrain the way we think is to sail away to a place with no cellular service, where the kids are self-reliant and the distractions are an ocean away.

Find the time to BE with your spouse. Love them. Talk for hours like you did years ago when those butterflies were still young! Hold hands! Plan an adventure! Reconnect to each other and disconnect from the rest of the world!

Anyone who knows Emily and me, they know how much I talk about my beautiful woman and the beautiful relationship we have. I want that for you and your spouse!

So whether it's a lazy boat ride up The Rainbow River, or going out to anchor and the two of you wrap up and watch the western sky as the sunset sizzles on the horizon... Please make time to always remind yourself why you work so hard and who you do it for.

We love you guys and we always will advocate for your happiness!

Well, it is the last weekend of scallop season for Crystal River and Homosassa. I have to say that it's been a very good harvest this year! We have two boats going out there today.
We have one more that we can deliver to Rainbow Springs today and I think we still have one or two available for tomorrow at any destination.. Give us a call and we will work you up a special price in celebration of the end of the season.

We have a friend that helps us get boats in the water in Dunnellon, but we don't want to burden him to haul them anywhere else for that week.

Heads up everyone!

The bird Creek boat ramp and yankeetown will be closed from September August 30th to September 4th. There is a small launch at the campground, but you may want to use inglis to access the north side of the power plant.

⚓⚓ August 1, 2026 Cancelled Rentals ⚓⚓

We don't ever want anyone to get hurt while out on one of our boats. Weather is something that we cannot control. Normally, we go by the Small Craft advisories issued by NOAA/USCG. As of the time of this post, no advisory has been issued. However the potential is high for one of today's many storms to take the waves from 2 feet to 5 feet in just a few minutes. This small difference can mean the difference in a safe trip, and declaring an emergency.

We have cancelled today's scalloping trips to Homosassa and Crystal River. Your safety is much more important than a bag of scallops. We've contacted our guests and refunds have been issued.

We will always care more about your safety than your money!
