At Sinister Performance, all tuning services are provided on a non-refundable basis. By scheduling and/or purchasing tuning services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
1. HP Tuners Credits Are Non-Refundable
• Each vehicle requires HP Tuners credits to license the ECU/TCM.
• Once applied, these credits are permanently tied to the vehicle’s VIN and cannot be refunded, transferred, or reused.
2. No Refunds After Service Begins
• Once a tune file has been created, flashed, or attempted to be flashed to the vehicle, the service is considered rendered.
• No refunds or chargebacks will be honored, regardless of outcome or external issues (e.g., defective battery, mechanical problems, wiring faults, hardware failures).
3. Customer Responsibility
• Customers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle is in proper working condition (battery, sensors, fuel system, wiring, etc.) before tuning.
• Sinister Performance is not liable for tuning interruptions caused by pre-existing vehicle issues.
4. No Guarantee of Performance
• While every effort is made to maximize safe performance, tuning results may vary depending on vehicle condition, modifications, fuel quality, and maintenance.
• Tuning may expose or worsen pre-existing issues that were not apparent prior to tuning.
5. Emissions & Off-Road Use Disclaimer
• Any tuning services that alter or disable emissions-related systems (including catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, EGR, EVAP, or related functions) are performed strictly for off-road/racing use only.
• It is the customer’s sole responsibility to comply with all federal, state, and local emissions laws.
• Sinister Performance assumes no liability for misuse of emissions-modified tunes on public roads.
6. Chargeback Fraud
• Any attempt to reverse payment after services are rendered will be treated as fraud and reported to the proper authorities.
• Sinister Performance reserves the right to pursue civil and criminal remedies for fraudulent chargebacks, including recovery of damages, business losses, and legal fees.
By proceeding with tuning services, you accept this policy and waive the right to any refund, chargeback, or payment reversal.
