Island Lake BBQ War Rules on Saturday Oct 3rd

(The old Porky’s Next to the Outpost gas station)
Start Time:
Contestants will start cooking @ 9:00am. All cooking will be done on sight. 3 racks of ribs will be provided at no charge to each contestant. If you would like to set up earlier the sight will be available at 8:00am.
Cooking:
Your ribs must be cooked at the restaurant. Bring your own pit, grill or smoker to cook your ribs. Electric and gas grills are prohibited. You must provide your all of your own seasonings or marinades for your ribs. Please remember to keep your area clean. Trash bags will be provided.
We can provide power for your equipment if necessary, please let us know in advance.
Turn in time:
Each cook must turn in 6 single bone ribs without sauce or garnish at 2:00pm to be judged. Just the ribs in the designated container given to each cook when you pick up the uncooked ribs. The container must be sealed.
Remember: “no sauce” ribs only.
You must have your ribs to the judging station by 2:30pm
