Our 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo has officially entered one of the most rewarding phases of the restoration process. The rear bumper is being reassembled, the interior is finding its way back home, and this iconic Turbo is starting to look like a complete car again.

A brake fluid flush is preventative maintenance that protects the entire braking system. Brake fluid naturally absorbs moisture over time, which lowers its boiling point and can cause internal corrosion in calipers and master cylinders. On an air-cooled Porsche, where many braking components are valuable and often original, regular fluid replacement helps maintain pedal feel, braking performance, and long-term reliability.

We consider a brake fluid flush one of the highest-value maintenance items because it protects thousands of dollars in braking components for the cost of routine service.
