Ensuring your children know how to self rescue is a lifesaving skill. It’s not swim lessons and no they don’t just throw your child in the water and see if they float. I sat on the sidelines for 6 weeks. I was her biggest cheerleader even when she was struggling. There was great progress and bad days, but we stuck with it and worked through every struggle. She gained her confidence and graduated her course. I now feel so much more confident in bringing Rowan around water. We will continue to work with her and do a refresh course to keep her skills sharp. Thank you .isr ,Lisa for being such a wonderful teacher. We are so thankful you got your certification and are in our area! Can’t wait to see you back in the pool in the spring!

Great car and great program!

Friday evening this 1968 Shelby GT350 will go across the auction block at Barrett Jackson Scottsdale!

All proceeds go to the Carroll Shelby Automotive Program at Northeast Texas Community College for student scholarships for the program.

These scholarships are everything and being a recipient of it is why it is so important to me. This program does exactly what Carroll wanted it to do. It teaches students a skill set that they can use to get a job in any economy.

I got the opportunity to do my internship at Legendary GT. Who graciously built and donated this Shelby to the school. Building this car was an experience of a lifetime and goes to show what skills you can learn going thru the program. I mean I didn’t know the difference between a tire iron and a crescent wrench when I started the program and by the end of it I built not one but two 1968 Shelby’s. This program has so much to offer students and so many opportunities for them as well so help keep Carroll’s legacy alive!!
