Now hiring an Automotive Service Technician

Job Description:

-Perform repairs listed on repair order following shop policies and procedures.
-Safely perform test-drives on vehicles while using diagnostic tools and other equipment.
-Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems.
-Communicate with the Service Advisor if any additional service is needed.
-Provide an estimate of time and cost needed for any additional repairs.
-Basic shop cleaning and following compliance of safety rules set forth by the shop.

Job Requirements:

-High School diploma or equivalent
-Ability to read and comprehend oral and written language
-Possess your own automotive tool set/tool box
-Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
-Trained automotive experience and/or experience on import vehicles and/or Subarus
-Must have reliable transportation
-Must possess a valid driver's license and a decent driving record (copy of MVR required)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

-Adequate knowledge of all makes/models. Subarus and performance parts is a plus.
-Effective diagnosis and communication skills
-Ability to identify and solve problems quickly
-Excellent customer service skills
-Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications
-Reading, writing, computer, and mathematics skills
-Must be able to handle interruptions and multitask
-Team environment
-Controls a well-organized and clean work environment

Pay:

Hourly
* Pay is based on level of general and Subaru-specific experience and any certifications *

-Paid sick accruals
-Employee parts pricing
-Paid time off after a year

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00+ per hour
***Pay is dependent on skill level and certifications***

Last week we had a customer come in after their engine seized on their 2010 Subaru Impreza. Upon removal we found their timing belt had failed and snapped taking part of the timing cover with it. Thanks to Skyline Motors LLC we installed a remanufactured long block and also installed a new clutch to save the customer labor down the road. Thanks John for this repair!
