Only using water in your coolant system is a bad idea. The picture attached is a water pump that needed antifreeze..... yes that stuff lubricates & prevents corrosion. Don't get worn down, get preventative maintenance done to avoid this kind of repair!!

As of 2020 all manufacturers have had to use a new refrigerant 1234yf ....... and a few manufacturers started the use of it as early as 2016. If you're having Automotive A/C problems we're ready for your call. As of October of last year the new machine is in place and working great.
