Jon Ellison was 3rd fastest in qualifying before coming up just under weight at the scales, sending him to the rear of his heat. He battled through the night and finished 18th in the feature.

For the tough break, Jon takes home the Daytona 1 Hard Luck Award and a bottle of Daytona 1 transmission fluid.

Way to go Waylon and the Team!!

What a ride! Thursday we turned on 6 win lights to finish in the semis. Friday-we turned on ALL the win lights!! Started racing at 10 am and that final win light was well after midnight, weather ranging from the 60’s to 80’s with dew covering by 7 pm. So mapping weather was crazy, but we did it! So happy to be parking McQueen on the dance floor! Thanks to everyone who helps make this happen!
