A seminal moment in the history of radial tire drag racing. Simply incredible. In this line of “work” it is so rare to see everything fall into perfect alignment to allow the greatest cars of their genre to lay down the greatest performances they can muster.

The greatest radial race of all time? Convince me it isn’t.

First radial car into the 60s
First turbo car into the 60s
First blower car into the 60s
First nitrous car into the 60s
Quickest bump spot of all time
Quickest run on a 275 radial tire ever
World record smashed half a dozen times
Speed records
Every qualified racer ran career bests

This is what a moment in time looks like. Tomorrow we race ‘em.

Share this thing until it melts.
