Slipshod Resto's

Slipshod Resto's Slipshod Resto's is my one-stop hot rod shop. It started as a fun idea, but it's evolved into handling some pretty nice projects over the years.

At that time, I had built about 200 Shelby Cobra replicas, a few VW's, and worked on a handful of other cars, but I had never given much thought to having my own shop. More and more though, people saw the work I had done on my own cars and started to ask me if I'd work on theirs. To me, that seemed like a fun

way to make some extra money, and my shop was born. Dave Gilchrist of Vintage German Motors came up with the name Slipshod Resto's. I think it's pretty funny actually. I know it's odd to think a shop that builds show cars would ever refer to itself as Slipshod, but the name stuck, and it's staying. I hope my work speaks for itself, regardless of the name. I never have had a clear long-term plan for the business. It's been everything from a side project to a full-time job over the past few years. I'm not sure how big or small it may be in the future, but I guess that keeps it fun. I still love building and restoring cars though, so we'll just have to see where it goes from here.
