The Ultra4 USA race at Cross Bar Offroad Park did not disappoint! Track was awesome and a blast with no let up or rest for the racers at all. We had an unfortunate belt issue that decided to present itself halfway up Rock Face, Miles Hasselquist dubbed the cedar tree my very own parking spot, so we threw another belt on and kept going. Unfortunately this was the first of three times we had to stop, find the belt, and put back on in the first lap. Radio’d pita and told them to grab the biggest Milwaukee impact and let her eat. Evidently the balancer had backed off a bit so that solved our problem and away we went. We kept getting faster every lap and our last lap was the fastest of the day. Bummed about the belt causing us to finish a little lower than we would’ve liked, but 7th place and finishing this hard course was a success. Thank you Daniel Parker for keeping me calm, going the right direction and the continued support. Northshore Raceworks and Rufus Racing always our the first to lend a hand and help us out. I’ve said it before but we couldn’t even think of doing this without them and honestly wouldn’t even want to.
