February 24, 2024. A moment we will never forget. Apostle Bill spoke life into my wife and I and told us that we were going to be “pregnant with a business.” We believed it would come to pass, even though at the time we weren’t even married yet, and both of us were rebuilding our lives in so many ways. But God already had a plan. Fast forward to January 2025. My wife and I entered into a corporate fast. We didn’t tell each other what we were individually praying and fasting about. During that time, my wife told my daughter, Layla, “I think your dad should open a pressure washing business.” Layla was like, “OMG!” because she had just learned that I had told Layla that I wanted to start a business too.

And that’s how Clean Slate Pressure Washing & Detailing started! Since then, it has been nothing short of a blessing. We work as hard as we can, we strive to do everything with excellence, and we are constantly reminded that what God speaks, He will bring to pass in His perfect timing. Apostle Bill, thank you for speaking life into us before we could even see what God was doing. Thank you for your unwavering faith, your support, your wisdom, and your guidance. We are so incredibly blessed to have had you and Apostle Sharon in our lives. Your impact on us will continue far beyond this moment. We will miss you, Apostle Bill. But we will carry what you poured into us. Until we meet again🙏

💗 Why does Clean Slate Pressure Washing & Detailing love pink so much?

For us, pink isn’t just a color. It’s personal. 🎀

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we wanted to share why you’ll always see a little (or a lot!) of pink incorporated into Clean Slate.

Our owner, James Roberts, lost his mom, Belinda “Boo Boo” Roberts, to breast cancer on September 2, 2018. She was first diagnosed in 2001, and after the cancer returned in 2011 as Stage 4, she fought incredibly hard for seven more years. She never gave up. 💗

Boo Boo was a firm believer in Jesus Christ, and while we miss her deeply, we know that she won her fight with breast cancer. Her earthly battle is over, and she is now with her Heavenly Father made new, healed, and whole🙏🏻

Although she never got to see her son build Clean Slate into the business it is today, we know she would be so incredibly proud of everything James has accomplished. Her strength, love, faith, and memory are a part of our story, and that’s why pink will always have a special place in our business.

James even wore a pink suit on his wedding day, because when something means this much to you, you proudly wear it. 💗

We wear pink in her honor. We wear it for the women still fighting. We wear it for the survivors. And we wear it in memory of the ones we’ve lost.

This October, wear the pink. 🎀 Get your recommended screenings. Know the signs and changes to look for. Encourage the women you love to take care of themselves. And when you can, give back and support someone who is walking through their own fight.

Love and miss you, Boo Boo. 💗
I know you’d be so proud of everything James has accomplished. We carry your memory with us every step of the way. And we find comfort knowing that one day, we’ll see you again.

HAPPY 20TH BIRTHDAY, LAYLA!

Help us wish our girl Layla Roberts a very happy 20th birthday! We’re so proud of the young woman you are and all that you’re working toward.

And remember… 20 looks good on you, but we may have to pressure wash you back to 19! 😂💦

Happy Birthday, Layla! We love you!

🇺🇸 NEVER FORGET — 9/11/2001 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the families, first responders, and heroes who were forever impacted by that day. We pray for continued comfort and peace for those who still carry the weight of that loss. May we never forget the courage, unity, and compassion that rose from tragedy.

Remember. Honor. Pray. 🇺🇸

Everyone thinks pressure washing is easy… ask my wife what she thinks. 😂

Summer 2026 has put this woman THROUGH IT. 🫠

She’s been my right-hand woman on probably 80% of our jobs, and if you’ve been a Clean Slate customer, there’s a good chance you’ve met her. Most of you love her… mainly for the entertainment. 😂

So here’s the question: Which ONE of these things has she NOT encountered while helping me pressure wash this summer?

Drop your guess below. 👇😂

🦇 Bats
🐝 Bees
🐍 Snakes
🕷️ Spiders
☀️ Sunburn
🐜 Fire ants
🦟 Mosquitos
💧 Dehydration
💰 Being underpaid
💀 Being overworked
🍳 Working through breakfast
🥪 Working through lunch
🍽️ Working through dinner

And somehow… she STILL shows up. 😂

All jokes aside, I genuinely couldn’t have made it through this busy season without her. ❤️ She’s worked hard, put up with more than she probably signed up for, and has been a huge part of Clean Slate Pressure Washing this year.

Love you, babe. Now get some rest… tomorrow we’ve got another job. 😂❤️
