On May 5th 2026 at around 20:30 hours, our team was contacted for the removal of a sailing vessel hard aground on an Oceanside city beach. Our team was quick to respond with Captains Scott, Kevin, and Ian responding by vessel and by land along with 2 rescue swimmers who were off duty local ocean lifeguards. The crew assessed for damages and pulled the vessel back out to sea with use of our salvage vessel “Response Oceanside.” Once the vessel was in safe water another assessment was conducted which revealed water intrusion from different areas. Our team utilized dewatering pumps and a damage control kit to keep the vessel afloat while under tow to the shipyard for an emergency haul out. Great work to our crew and the for keeping the mariners safe and assisting our crew with recovery efforts!
