I had this Suzuki 250 torn apart for quite a while waiting to get rebuilt, well I just put it back together yesterday and it fired right up. Then started bogging bad only 30 seconds after rebuild and then wouldn't run.
Well, it turns out that the exhaust had a massive mouse nest in it from being apart so long and it was literally plugged. I couldn't even blow through it.
I was unclogging it with a steel cable because that all I could think of to snake it out. I was using a drill to spin it and pull out clumps of nest. Well I had it all the way inserted and went to pull out the cable and it came off my drill and stuck in the pipe where I couldn't reach it.
I sadly, after hours of trying to get it out, had to cut the fmf fatty in half to get the cable out. So Monday I will be taking it to work to weld it back together and then this bike will be ready to RIP! After a slight break in period of course.
Might be selling this vintage beauty here soon!
