🔧 2017 Jeep Cherokee 2.4L – Thermostat Replacement! 🚙

Another mobile repair completed!

The customer contacted us requesting a new thermostat, so we provided a quote and came directly to them to get the job taken care of.

While performing the repair, we also installed a new coolant reservoir hose assembly and added 2 gallons of fresh purple premixed coolant to get everything back together and serviced properly.

⚠️ This particular repair was completed at the customer’s request. We did not perform the original diagnosis and therefore cannot verify the reason the thermostat replacement was requested.

2014 Ford Police Interceptor Utility 3.7L

Our customer was traveling back to Clearwater when they suddenly lost power and became stranded on the side of the highway in the middle of nowhere.

They had been stranded since around 4 PM and contacted us later that afternoon for help.

After arriving and checking the vehicle, it was determined that the alternator needed to be replaced.

🔧 We purchased a new alternator
⚡ Installed the new alternator roadside
🚐 Came directly to the customer's location
🌙 Worked until approximately 9:30 PM
✅ Got the vehicle running and the customer back on the road to Clearwater!

No tow to a repair shop. No leaving the vehicle overnight. We came directly to the customer, got the parts needed, completed the repair roadside, and got them moving again that same night.

Our customer suddenly lost power steering and had to pull into a KFC parking lot. Instead of dealing with a tow truck and waiting around at a repair shop, they called Matt’s Mobile Mechanics LLC!

We came directly to the vehicle and quickly found:

❌ Serpentine belt completely GONE
❌ A/C belt cracked and worn
🔍 All pulleys inspected for wear, looseness, and bearing issues

Our customer called us around 7 PM while stranded at AutoZone after the engine began overheating and losing coolant.

We came out, inspected the cooling system, and found coolant leaking from the water outlet pipe and heater hose.

Our customer’s PT Cruiser was having issues due to a worn-out fuel pump. After diagnosing the problem, we replaced the complete fuel pump assembly and got the vehicle running properly again.

This Tucson received:

✅ Inner tie rods replaced
✅ Outer tie rod ends replaced
✅ Steering components checked after installation
⚠️ Wheel alignment is required after tie rod replacement

Replacing worn tie rods helps restore proper steering control and keeps the front end tight and responsive. After replacing these components, a professional alignment is important to correct the toe and help prevent uneven tire wear.
