It might sound obvious, but there's a reason professional repairs involve much more than simply covering damaged areas with paint.

If the underlying panel is still distorted, adding paint won't correct the shape. The surface needs to be properly repaired and prepared before refinishing takes place.

That's why the repair process involves multiple steps, from addressing the damage to preparing the surface and finally applying the finish.

The final stage is where the details deserve another look, panel fit, finish quality, repaired areas, and the overall condition of the vehicle.
