“Turn To G-d Daily”

“The sacrifice you desire is a broken spirit. You will not reject a broken and repentant heart, O God.”

There is always room for improvement in our lives and with our relationship with G-d. Walking with Jesus I’ve learned so many lessons in life, lessons that have helped me grow closer to G-d through His Word, lessons that continue to cleanse me daily. The Bible says; “For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭23‬ ‭
Being humble and walking in meekness isn’t a check mark accomplishment. Humility is something we must practice everyday. Too many times we let pride and arrogance slip back into our hearts which is only going to take us to a place where we don’t wanna be. Temptation and sin, like our enemy the devil, will always be there, but it’s how we respond is what matters most…“If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”

“Trust in the Lord”

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬ ‭
We think the enemy does everything he can to make you step in on your own understanding, fail, and then simply give up. When in reality it’s us stepping in. It’s us relying on our own understanding and it’s us giving up. The enemy just sits back and waits. This is where I realize and immediately go back to those to words I’ve heard from G-d over and over again “Trust Me.” The Bible says; “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭
I was praying and praying and it seems like I wasn’t getting an answer, when all of a sudden it dawned on me, I don’t need one cause I already know. Nothing compares to how great G-d is, and trusting Him is knowing He has your best interest at heart…“God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called the children of God.”

“Jesus is the Answer”

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭
It’s really crazy how people just kinda show up with all these ideas how they are going to save the world. It’s even crazier how everyone flocks to them believing that they’re somehow special. The Bible says; “He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭2‬-‭4‬ ‭
G-d didn’t just show up one day, He existed and gave life to everything we can imagine, including us. He sent His son here not to judge us, but that we might be saved through Him. Jesus warned His disciples about the signs of the end of the age. “Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.” ‭‭Will we ever learn to trust and accept the Truth…“God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”

“The Simple Truth”

““If you love me, obey my commandments.”
‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭15‬ ‭
We put so much unnecessary pressure on ourselves and others by making unnecessary things a priority. We then begin bad habits by making excuses why we can’t do the things that we deem important. We hurriedly make these decisions Instead of listening to the words of Jesus and obeying what He says we must do. The Bible says; ““Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.””

Im not the brightest guy in the world and there’s so much I don’t understand but I listen very carefully to every word that I read in the Bible. When Jesus tells us ““I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”, I listen. Listening and obeying His words put into perspective what is important and necessary in our lives. Don’t let your pride and ego
Get in the way of hearing the simple truth…“Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!”

“Only G-d Knows”

“For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬ ‭
We need to understand that we are all going through a process and part of it is knowing it’s ok that we are not ok. That understanding will help us turn to the one who is always right and will never fail. I’ve learned something valuable in my walk, only G-d knows and He is the One we are accountable to. The Bible says; “Obviously, I’m not trying to win the approval of people, but of God. If pleasing people were my goal, I would not be Christ’s servant.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ ‭
I’ve learned a long time ago, there’s a way that looks good and then there’s what works. G-d’s way and His directions are what always works . He’s the only one that knew the pathway was there in the Red Sea and it’s the same with your life, only G-d knows…“Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.”
