The CID (Competition Induction Designs) story....
CID Heads is the culmination of over two decades of experience manufacturing world renowned and record setting cylinder heads and intake manifolds.
It all started with the founding of CHI Cylinder Heads in the late 1990's out of Australia, designing and manufacturing the CHI Australian Hemi Inline 6 cylinder alloy cylinder head and progressed to the world renowned CHI 3V Cleveland Cylinder heads and intake manifolds, as well as the Commander Windsor Intake Manifolds among others. CHI was sold in 2009 before I moved to the USA.
Nowadays at Competition Induction Designs USA we are focused on delivering products that give you a distinct advantage over similar products on the market. We do so by optimizing valve locations, port designs and intake manifolds to produce results never before achievable in their platforms, like that of our 1100NA-HP Inline LS heads and intake package. We do this by working with the brightest and best minds in the industry and the results speak for themselves.
Our products are for those who want the most from a given combination of parts. What we do best is focus on making the best cylinder head for a custom piston combination or someone who is prepared to do some valve relief work. If you keep the same valve locations as every one else and the same port openings as every one else, you will have much the same results as ...... well you guessed it. But we know that not everyone wants a custom combination, so we also offer bolt on performance advantages like that witnessed with out GEN V LT1 & LT4 Cylinder Heads, and soon to be LS7 heads with factory posts.
Our manifolds are designed to make power without compromise. Yes they are tall, but where else can you buy a intake capable of making 1100+HP from a Small Block without welding and yet will hold their own on lesser HP combinations as well?
Currently we manufacture BE-LS7 & BE Ford Intake Manifolds, BE LS Inline Cylinder Heads, BE SB Ford Heads and our Symmetrical Port Big Block Chevy Heads and matching intake manifolds as well as our Gen V LT1 & LT4 cylinder heads.
One ting we will NEVER do at CID is use Chinese Castings like some do in our industry. We will guarantee that in writing. The BE-LS7 & BE Ford Intake Manifolds, BE LS Cylinder Heads, BE SC2 SB Ford Heads and the Gen V LT1 Cylinder Heads are all computer modelled and manufactured in the USA.
The CID BB Chevy heads and manifolds, whilst a product of CID USA, are currently manufactured in Australia and will soon be bought to the USA.
