A New Outdoor Rooftop Cinema may be Coming to Broward County 🍿

A proposal for Rooftop Cinema Club is scheduled to be reviewed by the Oakland Park Development Review Committee on June 11. The project would transform the rooftop of the Oaklyn parking garage at 3333 N Federal Highway into a permanent open-air movie theater.
Plans call for screenings accommodating approximately 100-200 guests, food and beverage service, a full bar, new restroom facilities, and panoramic rooftop views. Instead of traditional speakers, guests would use wireless headphones to help minimize noise impacts on surrounding neighborhoods.
The proposed venue would occupy the top level of the existing 550 space parking garage and operate year round with evening and weekend screenings.
The proposal still requires approvals from the City of Oakland Park. If approved, it would become one of Broward County’s most unique entertainment venues and bring the popular Rooftop Cinema Club concept to Oakland Park.
