Myth:
Hail dents can come back once the hail damage has been repaired after time or during extreme temperatures.
Truth:
Once a dent is fixed, it will NEVER return. If the appearance of a dent returns, that means it was never properly repaired to begin with.
When a dent gets big enough, it can severely stretch the metal. When the metal is stretched like that, no amount of PDR can repair it. The metal has to go somewhere and often times creates an "oil can" effect. This is when the metal is relatively straight, but won't stay flat. Instead it will either flop up or down.
Inferior technicians will try to disguise this to make the customer think the dent is fixed, but in truth it never was and in many circumstances (weather, time, etc...) that dent will reveal itself again.
Dent Menders will never pass off a dent as fixed if it is not. We guarantee our workmanship and make sure that the proper repairs need for each customer is appropriate to the damage.
