I couldn’t let Friday the 13th pass without a scary good transformation and color correction.

This was our second lightening session with a whole year of mostly at home maintenance between. So it was time to bring up her blend and work toward her silver hair dreams finally.

We banished any hair nightmares with CPR to start, to lighten and brighten and of course in everything to keep those bonds strong and shine high.

Another one from the archives to highlight the difference a simple mineral detox treatment can make! These treatments are my first step to any color correction but should be done periodically on all clients to remove the buildup of hard water,smog and chlorine our hair is exposed to here in Texas all year, but especially in summer. For this reason they will no longer be on my hourly service rate and will be $45 stand alone appointments! If your hair is feeling dry, weighted down and grimy, or is looking discolored this simple service can make all the difference. Message to book your post 4th detox!

Okay so the queen just followed me and I just had to come on here and thank her. She wiped who she follows a while back in order to refocus her Instagram and I loved the direction her content went after. She constantly speaks out about humbling the industry and empowering peers over tearing down artists. So here is a shot from the class I got to take with her a couple years ago. I still use the things I learned from her and all the time in the salon. This was my first vivid class, my first collab situation and the only thing I could think the whole time is “I hope I’m as humble, yet confident and badass as Alix and Amanda one day.” I’m snowed in right now but I’m so grateful to have social media to continue to connect me with inspiration for sunnier days.
