BIG BUCK CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCEMENT!

The wait is over, and we are pumped to finally announce the Big Buck Contest winners! This season delivered everything you could ask for — early mornings, long sits, unforgettable moments, and some truly impressive animals. The competition was tight, and every entry showed the dedication and passion that make this contest so special this year.
We’re proud to recognize FOUR OFFICIAL WINNERS, split between Adult and Youth divisions, and Whitetail and Mule Deer categories. Each winning harvest represents patience, preparation, and making the most of the opportunity when it arrived.

Thank you to everyone who came in and test drove a rig with us, then donated turkeys or treasure towards feeding good folks this winter who need it.

Thanks to your generosity, We matched your donations and were able to donate 56 turkeys, and $1,600 dollars, split between the Colville and Kettle Food Banks.

So thank you to everyone who stopped by, checked out some new rides, and donated.

We couldn’t do events like this without our community’s help and participation!

A big thank you as well to Jason Craig, and Grocery Outlet for the sourcing and good deal on the Turkeys!

To pull community organizing effort and food resource information into a central spot, Rural Resources is compiling two community guides:
• Food Resources Guide – A directory of local food banks, meal sites, and other food assistance programs available throughout the Stevens, Ferry, Pend Oreille, and Lincoln counties for people who need food.
• Support Your Local Pantry Guide – A list of food drives and other opportunities to support food pantries and other emergency food programs in your area. These volunteer-run, donation-reliant resources will need food and monetary donations, as well as volunteer help.
