What makes Springs Auto Repair different than your typical professional repair facility?

Where do I begin? 😎

-I’m a one man show. So what does that mean?
No customer becomes just a number. Every one of the people I help becomes a relationship.
That means every ounce of my being goes into making sure that customer is satisfied.
-I 100% stand behind all my work.
Yes, sometimes i lose money, sleep, hair, and maybe some sanity over trying to please every single person.
But in the end, as long as my customer is smiling and safe, and happy with the work done, then I can rest easy.
-I put honesty, transparency, and quality work over making a buck.
I do my best to show and explain to my customers what is needed and why. We always prioritize safety over selling every job.
-I’m a smaller shop so I’m able to pay more attention to all the details. This also means I have a much quicker turn around time for repairs as well as less overhead to cover, making repairs quicker and less expensive than chain repair shops or larger name shops in the springs.
-I communicate as much as I possibly can to ensure there is no surprises when it comes to repairs and that every detail is relayed to the customer before proceeding.
-In the end, I am only one guy, so sometimes things slip through the cracks. I have a disability as well that sometimes make things difficult. But I will ALWAYS do everything in my power to make things right.

What id consider a very successful day. Knocked out a diesel oil change for one of my amazing repeat customers, then did a diagnostic for a new customer that unfortunately had their car stolen and totaled and needed to know the damage, then to finish the day I pulled a subaru engine and resealed it for a very nice lady who was given improper diagnosis by 2 other mechanics and quoted more than $2500 more than what I was able to fix the issue for. Busy is blessed. So thank you all once again ❤️

Finally got a pseudo lift in the shop to help with suspension and brake jobs. Hoping to get an actual 2 post lift sooner than later. Also another very successful repair done today. Well folks, it happened 😥 I got my first 1 star review ⭐️
Long story: I ignored my better judgement and allowed a customer to provide their own engine for a swap. I was very clear there would be no warranty on customer supplied parts. Especially a whole engine assembly. After completing the engine swap and getting the car running, they were having a coolant loss. I could not find a leak but found that the radiator was pushing coolant out when running. Usually meaning exhaust gasses were being pushed into the coolant system. I let them know my findings and they were not satisfied with my answer so they decided to take it somewhere else for a second opinion. The second shop apparently found a leak but was never verified. Suspected leaking part was part of the engine assembly the customer provided. After some back and forth the customer only wanted to see red and expected me to fix or replace a part of the assembly that they provided free of charge. I was firm that there was no warranty. They were unhappy with this decision and decided to change their previously 5 star review to a 1 star. I tried everything I could to come to an amicable solution but the customer didn’t want that. So here we are

I have to remind myself that even garden of the gods and Niagara Falls have 1 star reviews. No matter what you try and do, you can’t please everyone.
Despite me trying everything in my power, it still eats me up inside that even 1/100 customers isn’t completely happy with my work. Perks of being a mechanic and shop owner

Had a good customer hit me up on Friday to get his buddies car taken care of. Decided to come in today on Sunday to get it taken care of before he left for his trip tomorrow. Another successful job 😎
