So, what does AC power run on your RV? Maybe a better question would be what is AC power on your RV?

AC power is "alternating current" power. AC power comes from plugging your trailer in to an external AC power source. Some people know this as plugging into shore power. We could talk about tis for days but the bottom line is: AC power runs the big things in your rv. AC powers appliances like air conditioning, microwaves, outlets, etc.

Did you get the answer right? This switch is a battery disconnect. Battery disconnect switches can look different on different RVs but they generally work the same.

According to Google:
"A camper's battery disconnect switch acts as a master shut-off, instantly cutting power between the battery and the camper's 12-volt electrical system."

Not all RVs have a battery disconnect switch but more often than not now a days they do.
