The Duesenberg marque rightfully so making at Headlines from the Concours field to the auction block this year!!

The collector car world’s top prize, Best of Show at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, was awarded today to a Duesenberg SSJ originally owned by Clark Gable. The 75th celebration also reached a major milestone, surpassing $50 million in total charitable giving.

This year, 218 cars—including 33 international entries from 14 countries and 185 US entries from 30 states—pulled onto the competition field. The winning 1935 Duesenberg SSJ Special Speedster was shown by Harry Yeaggy of Cincinnati, Ohio. 🏆

Sunday Afternoon... We took Sarah's 500 SL to the FCP Euro. Sunday Showing of: Mercedes-Benz, VW, Audi and Porsche. A trio including Daniel Horowitz in his gorgeous 560 SEL and Carl in his rare thistle green 450 SL!! The Lancia joined us afterward!!

We were invited to show the 1957 Bill Frick Special GT Coupe at the Philadelphia Concours. A 1 of 1… designed by Michelotti, built by Vignale per Bill Frick (Briggs Cunningham). A wonderful selection of post war Italian, and quite a few Old York Road Sports Car Club (OYRSCC) member amongst them!
