🏡 What if the secret to finding the perfect home… isn’t square footage or granite countertops? 👀

After nearly eight years in real estate, Liz Mason of Compass RE says the most important skill an agent can have isn’t negotiating or marketing—it’s listening.

From understanding why buyers are moving to noticing the little comments during showings (“That yard is a lot to maintain” or “I can already picture us hosting here”), listening helps uncover what “home” really means for each person. 🏡✨

For sellers, it’s just as important. The memories, routines, and emotions tied to a home matter—and understanding those details can make the process feel a lot more personal (and a lot less stressful).

Because at the end of the day, real estate isn’t just about contracts or curb appeal—it’s about people navigating big life moments.

💬 Thinking about buying or selling? Maybe the first step isn’t having all the answers… maybe it’s finding someone who listens.

A big thank you to Liz Mason, Compass RE, for being one of our expert contributors this month and sharing her thoughtful perspective with the Collingswood Living community! ❤️

📖 Want the full scoop? Check out this month’s issue of Collingswood Living to read Liz’s full article—and while you’re flipping through, don’t miss all the other fun stories, local spotlights, and community reads we packed into this month’s issue. Trust us, it’s a good one. 😉

📖✨ Have you checked out this month’s issue of Collingswood Living yet?! Because trust us… there are SO many good reads inside 👀

One standout this month? A timely and insightful piece from our expert contributor, Rachel Allison of Haddonfield Financial Planning, breaking down how to stay focused when the market feels like a rollercoaster 🎢💸

With headlines constantly buzzing about interest rates, market swings, and economic uncertainty, it’s easy to get caught up in the noise. Rachel reminds us that for long-term investors, ups and downs are all part of the journey — and staying patient through short-term volatility can make a meaningful difference over time.

A huge THANK YOU to Rachel Allison of Haddonfield Financial Planning for sharing your expertise with our readers this month! 👏

Now we want to hear from YOU ⬇️

👗✨ WAIT… your overflowing closet could actually become someone else’s favorite find?! 👀♻️

Say hello to The Garb Collection, Collingswood’s newest shopping obsession that’s giving clothes a second chance — and making sustainable fashion seriously fun! 🛍️💚

Located in a beautifully restored historic space on Haddon Avenue, this isn’t your average consignment shop. Instead of hoping a store accepts your clothes, YOU rent your own rack, set your own prices, and let The Garb Collection team do the selling for you. 🙌 No awkward meetups. No endless online listings. No stress.

Owner Caitlin Quirk was inspired after a trip to Iceland where sustainable shopping and resale culture thrive — and now she’s bringing that same eco-friendly magic to Collingswood! ✨ Even cooler? Unsold items can be donated to the store’s $2 rack, with proceeds helping install local compost systems 🌱

Whether you’re ready to clean out your closet, score amazing finds, or shop more sustainably, The Garb Collection is officially OPEN and ready to welcome the neighborhood! 🎉👚👖

📍823 Haddon Avenue, Collingswood

💥 Read the FULL feature in this month’s issue of Collingswood Living — trust us, this one will make you want to clean out your closet ASAP! 😉

✨ From broken pieces to something beautiful… Collingswood just did it again!

What started as a simple idea inside Collingswood High School has turned into a breathtaking mosaic mural filled with love, memories, and community spirit. Created in honor of beloved educators, Lisa Winkler and Joe Lerch, this piece is more than art—it’s a living tribute made up of hundreds of hands, stories, and moments.

From student-painted tiles to late nights shaping clay at the kitchen table, to dodgeball fundraisers and alumni support—this project brought everyone together. And the best part? It’s still growing💛

Mark your calendar for May 20 and see it for yourself at the official unveiling during the school’s art show—you’re invited!

Because in Collingswood, even the smallest pieces can come together to create something unforgettable.
