Hello campers!! It’s nearing the end of Season. Starting Nov 1 we will be closed completely for maintenance through Nov 15th. After this, no water and only Electric and Septic will be available so plan accordingly if you come up after that. Water will not be turned back on until the freezes stop which which are usually mid April. Thank you! 🌲

Happy Summer! 🤗 It’s been a busy, crazy Season this year for certain and we hope everyone has been well and we thank all our loyal guests! We would like to make an announcement and prepare everyone for next year. In 2021 we will be transitioning to be an adult only park UNLESS PRIOR APPROVAL is given by the park host for acceptance of children under 18 at your campsite. It will be on a case by case basis that will be based on number in party and/or past stays. We have experienced and sustained multiple damages to park property this year due to parental negligence and we have to protect our guests, serenity and natural environment. This has not been an easy decision but it’s one that we hope will be met with understanding. Thank you. 🌲

Hello campers! If you arriving from out of State please be advised that here in NM as of 7/2 through 7/15 you are advised to self isolate and avoid public places unless medically necessary. You can still enjoy the comforts of your camper, hiking or trails in and around our RV park. If you have any questions about an existing reservation or a future reservation please don’t hesitate to call us. We are booking up faster than ever and if you are looking to stay this Summer, please book early in order to get your dates. Right now we are booked solid every weekend through mid July. The weekend of July 10th we still have a few spots available but they are going fast. We have waiting lists too so you can call and get your name put on the ones for June and early July if you wish as well. Lots of campers this year are navigating through the madness and just want to get out of town with families and friends. And I don’t blame them. 🤗 We are doing out best to accommodate everyone and it’s been kinda crazy to say the least but we are doing it! 🌲 Hope to see y’all soon but please book as soon as you have dates in mind and don’t wait till last minute. Thank you everyone for your patronage and loyalty to this wonderful slice of Heaven we call 16 Springs. 🌲🌹😃🐿🌲
PS: we will still have public bathrooms and showers closed so your RV or Camper must be fully contained. We have full hookups as well. We do continue selling ice and have opened up our Laundry facilities now as well too. 🤗

NOTICE: Open campfires are now banned in private parks across NM due to Covid 19 and Dry conditions.

An exception is granted where cooking or heating devices use kerosene, white gas, or propane as a fuel in an improved camping area that is cleared of flammable vegetation for at least 30 feet or has a water source.

We will abide by this and no open fire wood burning will be allowed until further notice. Thank you.

Hello campers! Quick update: We are open with full hookups. 🤗 However we will not be opening up any public facilities (bath/shower/laundry) until further notice so your rig has to be fully self contained. No pop ups or tents.
We are also abiding by our Governors order to remain at only 25% capacity through May 15th which means that you MUST call ahead or book online to check for availability before arrival.

Great news!! We have water turned on and now have full hook ups available. We will not have public bathrooms/showers open till further notice and all campers and RV’s must be self contained. We are also strict on social distancing between each site and insist that all campers respect one another during this trying time. Thank you and God Bless. 🤗🦌🤗

Park Update:


Due to COVID-19, Public Bathhouse/Restrooms are closed temporarily. All RV’s and campers arriving must be self-contained. NO TENTS or POP UP’s will be allowed. Laundry and Ice will be limited and available on a case by case basis with no public access. We encourage all campers to practice social distancing. Please respect the area that is designated for each camper and keep interaction at a comfortable distance. 16 Springs is committed to providing a safe harbor for those seeking solace in our beloved mountain park. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. Thank you!

We are still open and have no plans in place to close amid this situation. We are still taking reservations and are looking forward to our guests bringing their campers and RV’s and enjoying our beautiful forest, solitude and being in the fresh air! We will have water turned on as early as mid to late April, weather permitting there are no hard freezes. Right now there is Electric and Septic available.
We will post updates of any changes but as of now, camping is allowed and we will do everything in our power to ensure the safety AND relaxation of our guests. 🤗
