After getting home from surgery a couple days ago our star employee has really been milking the "light duty" restrictions 😂. Of course I'm joking and all jokes aside it has been a pretty chaotic last couple of weeks. I've really been handed a good reminder of all the things that get done in the background you don't really get to see. I don't ask for it, it's just done. I may be the one on the job sites but so much behind the scenes of what goes on is thanks to this woman right here. Not to worry though she will be recovered and back to full operation soon.

Air leaks are not to be ignored, constant air leaks even slow such as these air bags cause extra stress on the air compressor. Air compressors are designed to run in a loaded state for certain duty cycles. When the system has leaks the air compressor is engaging more often to keep up with these air leaks. Large enough leaks left un repaired will ultimately kill the compressor. Repairing air leaks and proper air dryer maintenance is key to avoiding more costly repairs. Checking for air leaks including spraying down to check the bags as seen here is something Rusty's Fleet Service performs during your scheduled HD Truck PM. This level of depth in your PM and inspection service means the little things can be identified and repaired the same day the equipment is already scheduled for maintenance and reduces cost and downtime long term.
