I was able to take some time this afternoon to get both cars serviced. We were planning to race local this weekend but with the rain this past weekend some schedules have changed. I think we're going to head down to Sand Mountain Dragway and see if we can go some rounds.

Second round round of qualifying from last weekend. Unfortunately the rain came shortly after so this was the end of our day.

Run for the money round last weekend. After this pass we noticed an issue with the rear axle bearing and had the rain not came we would have likely been done for the day with the jr anyways. We'll get it torn down and back together before the next one.

Carson Crittenden went through his first start up procedure today. This boy is ready to get in this thing but we still have a few months. We're not rushing him out of the junior, but the way he keeps growing, he doesn't have long left in it.

Obviously the Chevy 2 has been getting a lot of my attention lately, but I can't forget about the ol' truck. We've been through a lot together. We've turned on many win lights together, made it to two finals but never finished it off.

Will we see it back out this season?

I got a ton of bugs on the front of the car Friday night out testing. Anyone who has ever tried cleaning dead bugs off the front end of a car knows that it can be a tough task. You've heard me talk about CROFTGATE USA before and how great their Just The One works, but this was the real test for it. Before loading the car up to head to the track, I gave it a liberal coat of Just The One to the front end to try to combat the bugs. This afternoon I finally got a chance to clean the car off and man, I was impressed. They literally just wiped off with a dry micro fiber towel. I've never had it that easy. So, needless to say, I'll be doing that from now on.

If this sounds like a sales pitch I'm sorry, I'm just telling you about real world events! And NO, I'm not being given products to tell you this.

If you'd like to give their products a try, get with Michael Steele and he can get you taken care of.
