5 DAY BUILDER CHALLENGE // Thats a wrap! The body is built and the car is all roughed in. This week was an amazing thrash session with a ton of incredibly talented builders all in one room and it ran SO smoothly. The car is incredible.

But most importantly it's all the pictures of the guys that is the real story here. Community.... This industry is a tough road to run down and we all live it in different ways. Getting to be with all your boys like the good old days when we were all younger and tearing apart cars for fun.

Can't thank enough for bringing all of us together and all of the sponsors that made it possible. Till the next time boys.

5 DAY BUILDER CHALLENGE // This morning kicked off with and working together to start bringing in the details. The door area that I am working on is getting some shape changes to make a better picture in the door area. It's incredible watching these guys work together and dial in the design.

The welders are buzzing away welding up the panels and the machines are hammering away. The sound in the shop is absolutely unreal with everything happening at one time.

5 DAY BUILDER CHALLENGE // Day 2 is well underway. Progress is incredible. The preformed panels are making things come together so incredibly quick. , , and have taken the two halves of the right fender and welded them and the metal finishing has started to get them dialed in.

I have moved into fitting the right running boards, the right door, the upper part of the right rear quarter panel.

UNREAL》My good buddy is an incredible jewelry designer and has truly out done himself on this masterpiece. A solid gold motorcycle pendant coming in at 4 inches long and weighing almost 80 grams total. The headlight and wheels have over 500 individual white and black diamonds on the tires, headlight, motor and to top it all off.... The wheels spin. Absolutely unreal. Bravo buddy!

CHANGING IT UP// Ok.... So I'm back... Kinda. This last year and a half has been a ride to say the least. Curve ball after curve ball was thrown and we didn't come anywhere to making contact with them. We have moved to Clermont Florida just outside of Orlando and we are getting settled into a temporary location. My health is on the rebound and I'm ready to start messing up perfectly good motorcycles again. Still have a bit of work to do getting the temp location worked out. Needs electrical and lightning and some serious organization. Soooooo... Yeah. I'm back. Kinda.

NEW BEGINNINGS》So while I have been getting my health back in order and couldn't do any big projects, I decided that the shop could be built out better. Been spending time reorganizing the entire shop and getting rid of stuff that I have been kicking around and adding equipment that helps with efficiency and cleanliness. I have also been setting up my workstation for the new 1100MX. Picked up a new toolbox for all the new tooling and metrology instruments and decided that it needed a nice custom made butcher block top. Spent a little time and knocked this guy out. Pretty happy with the way things have been shaping up. Sure does look good against that Tormach color.

PODCAST》Hung out socially distanced with Dave from and "chewed the cud" for a bit. He's been featuring different personalities throughout the industry which has been fun to hear their individual stories and a ton of the similarities we all share in one way or another. Make sure you go give him a follow and listen in. DO IT!

TORMACH 110MX》 Well... like I said, I haven't gone anywhere. Life hits hard sometimes and you have to go underground to get back on top. Ran into some pretty serious health issues that knocked me off my feet for a while. BUT, it doesn't mean I have stopped making moves or preparing for future growth. Things have been looking brighter recently and I'm excited to get back in the swing of things and show you all some stuff I've been cooking up.

With that being said, I'd like to welcome the newest employee of the J.Webster Designs team. He doesn't talk much. But takes orders really well. We decided to team up with for our CNC milling needs and picked up their brand new 1100MX machine. We have size and power constraints in the tiny shop that we work out of and this machine fits all the requirements that we have. I am excited to have more capabilities added to our shop and to see what kind of doors this opens for us. More to come as we move things around and get it fully installed.

BMW R18 CONCEPT》Barber Vintage Fest 2019 was a great time. It was packed with great friends making even better memories. One of those memories is getting to have some one on one time with the Head of Design Edgar Heinrich (green shirt) and the Product Manager of the Aircooled/Oil boxer program (striped shirt) of . I was honored to get to sit on the new R18 concept and experience the highlights of the new design direction first hand. Edgar, Roland and the teams behind them have done an incredible job. I'm really excited to see a manufacturer heading down a design path that evokes emotion when you look at and sit on a motorcycle instead of simply jamming it full of tech. Job well done!

MEMORIES》One of the things that I charish about this adventure in the moto industry is the people that I meet and memories that are made. The experiences that I have had like this throw back picture to last year at the competition in are simply unforgettable. What an incredible experience this was. Ripping around down town L.A. with some of the worlds most talented motorcycle builders all on custom handmade machines. Having pizza with a childhood idol ( ) and having him and the other amazingly talented and worthy judges ( and ) go over a bike I built with a fine tooth comb. Can't replace it and never would.

Thank you for capturing this moment with and myself soaking up the moment.

MOVING ON》The Triumph has been delivered to the client and placed safely in her new home amongst some really cool cars and motorcycles. Happy to see this one go to such a great motorcyclist and know it will be well taken care of. We may get together to do some more video and pictures of it at a later date. But it's time to move on. New projects, new adventures, new opportunities
