This 19 year old diamond shield on this rv took several layers of vinyl off and a long dwell to finally soften. Use vinyl off to soften the film and adhesive off pro to remove the underlying adhesive. I’m using a big blade scraper modified for a traditional 4 inch paint scraper.

At what point does PPF start damaging paint? Yellowing, cracking, mold - get it off.
Steam is the most controlled and best way to remove
PPF. But after years of heating and cooling, the film is no longer flexible, the adhesive is bonded to the substrate, and there's almost no way to remove the film and maintain a factory finish. Follow us for part 2.

Use Ghost-Off to remove grease, exhaust residue, and grime become sticking decals. Start with a wet surface, apply, scrub, rinse. Questions? We pick up the phone.

Why do different pigments remove much differently even given the same wrap, age, and conditions? It all comes down to solvent load. Red requires more solvent than black, and therefore needs more outgassing. If the installer is in a hurry and laminates before proper outgassing, that solvent is trapped and migrates towards the adhesive layer, changing the chemical composition and making it a much tougher removal.

Ghost-Off Oxidation Remover is pertect on oxidized gelcoat and FRP that you'll find on well used boat and RV's. It will leave you a chemically clean surface.
