Billsbeetlebarn just acquired this BEAUTIFUL 1965 Convertible. She runs, drives and stops! Indiana title has been applied for. Both floor pans have been replaced, 1200cc motor has been converted to 12v. Spare tire well is very nice as are the wheel wells and heater channels. There are two rust holes in the rear luggage tray areas. 1966 Interior has no tips or tears

Interesting that Volkswagen nixed this to build the Bugatti ... never realized they were part of that liniage!

I have often wondered why the Audi has so much more to offer as far as "fast" eyecandy. Love finding that there were some SWEET VW concept cars as well
