Had good day at the North East Fox Frenzy car show that was put on by John Parker John 'Wheelman' Dziza Kel Frankie and all the voluteers, met some good people that I have only talked to online before. After some pear pressure I put the 68 on the dyno. It would only rev to 6300 but still made 964whp. Ended up getting high horsepower trophy Thanks Tim Riddle for making the show trophy’s, now I have something made by you lol. I also found that the rear wheels are extremely out of balance or they have just had it after 30 years of service. Now to put the bigger injectors, add the boost controller (it’s on wastegate springs now) and get back to the track, probably going to put the stick back in it also.

Great day at the track today. First a huge thanks to Tim Albert and my oldest son Cj for all the help, couldn’t have done it without you. Second I was able to successfully get my license runs in and made 7 runs in about 3 hours. One the last run we were able to turn the leave up a little bit but it still needs one more power on the leave and this 3650lb home built car ended up rewarding us with its first 8 second run with a [email protected] still running off gate springs. It was a great end to the year after the race in Norwalk OH where I met some great people and won an award for best overall Godzilla and had a great video done of the car by Evan Smith REVan Media on his YouTube REVn Evan channel. Lebanon Valley Dragway staff was helpful all day and the facility was run flawlessly along with the track worked very well for us.

Beautiful, 7.3-powered machines are participating in the Pauls High Performance Godzilla Invasion Presented by Willis Performance this weekend at the Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels NMRA Ford Homecoming Presented Anderson Composites. A fine example is Chris Zukowski’s 1968 Mustang. Not only is it powered by a built Godzilla engine bolstered by quality parts from Brian Tooley Racing, Molnar, WIllis Performance, Wiseco, and more, but it is boosted by two VS Racing 78/75 mirror-image turbos. Under the control of a FuelTech 550 system, it pumps out more than four digits. Zukowski is working toward his competition license so he can flex the car’s full 9-second potential on the track in Holley NMRA Ford Nationals action.

Made a parachute mount that’s bolts in using the factory tie down points, most of the Funkhouser Racecars rear suspension is welded up except for the sway bar links, trans crossmember is done and modified a RCI fuel cell with an internal baffle that was designed to use a drop in single fuel pump to use a triple fuel hat from a Shelby using a fl**ge and cell mounts from boydwelding.com. I cut the center out of the cell and added the fl**ge and then made a plate to relocate the fill and sender.

Back on the 68 now to get it ready for the NMRA Godzilla Invasion at NMRA's Ford Homecoming at the June race in Ohio. Sm...

Back on the 68 now to get it ready for the NMRA Godzilla Invasion at NMRA's Ford Homecoming at the June race in Ohio. Small list of things to do like, swap injectors, build fuel cell, mount parachute, change over to a TH400, Matt Funkhouser race cars rear suspension,driveshaft, wiring, mount seats……

Today went good for a new build and a car that hasn’t seen the track since the 70’s and drove back on the trailer at the end of the day. Found out the Lakewood slapper bars and Koni shocks that are dated 1972 don’t work so well. No 2 step so staging was fun and was just run on gate springs. I’m very happy with how it turned out and is a good base to start with. Last run was 10:90@151, there is so much room for improvement and is only the beginning.

Not a bad looking combo from 50’ away. Now let’s see if I can get it in the 12’s. Finished the belly pan this week also,...

7.3 is back running after being down for upgrades from when I broke the factory piston and windowed the block. New block, Molnar rods, Wiseco pistons, Callie’s cam, BTR intake and bent an 8.50 cage. I had to shorten the intake inlet an inch and a half, machine the throttle body and clamp assembly shorter and then weld back together because of the tight engine bay. Put a good 40 miles on it I. The past couple of days. It felt good to drive it again. Now to finish putting interior back together, cleaning and get some tune revisions.

Because of relocating the coils and not wanting to buy billet covers I took a cheaper alternative and cut up 2 LS lifter valley plates and panel bonded them to stock covers along with adding -10 fittings for breathers.
