Looking forward to spotting for Andy Seuss this weekend in New Hampshire! We’ve been in contention so many times and this year’s plans are no different. Checkered Flags and Lobstahs!
Andy Seuss Gets Ready for Annual Trip Home to Race New Hampshire Motor Speedway NASCAR Modified Event
KLAS Motorsports Will Support Seuss and Jacob Perry as Teammates This Year
Andy Seuss has plenty of great things on his plate these days. He is the managing partner of the KLAS Motorsports ARCA Menards Series team, which won their first race earlier this year at Talladega Superspeedway (AL) with driver Andy Jankowiak. He manages his son Lyle’s racing career, which has resulted in victories at Millbridge Speedway (NC) this season and occasionally, he still gets to strap into the #70 SS Motorsports Modified to compete on the NACSAR Whelen Modified Tour.
The biggest race for Seuss as a driver every season is when the Tour visits New Hampshire Motor Speedway. He is a native of Hampstead, New Hampshire who now resides in North Carolina.
NHMS is more than just a home track for Seuss. It is a track where he has earned a pole award on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour award. It is a track where he has run a NASCAR Cup Series race for Rick Ware Racing. Most of all, it is a track that is very near and dear to his heart.
“Going home and racing with friends and family is always a good thing,” said Seuss. “This has kind of turned into our once-a-year homecoming. It’s incredibly special for me to see everybody and then I get to strap my helmet on and do my thing in my own little world. I have fun and everyone is there – the KLAS guys, my family, the old crew from the old racing days, (KLAS Motorsports owner) Kevin (Lapierre) and everyone. It is neat for it to all come together.”
Seuss comes into the 2026 version of the event on the heels of a solid fourth place result there last season. He also will have a teammate of sorts for the race. Connecticut racer Jacob Perry is a crew member for KLAS Motorsports who races Modifieds as much as his schedule and budget will allow. He will run his Modified in the event as KLAS Motorsports is supporting both Seuss and Perry for the NHMS race.
“KLAS expanding into Modifieds is an exciting big deal,” said Seuss. “Being in the shop with Jacob, we spar over set-ups and things like that. It’s neat for KLAS to help him and his family go there. It’s another small family team being able to race on a big stage.”
Rockingham Boat, KLAS Motorsports, Alexandra Hair Studio, Florida Safety Systems, RGA Tire and Auto Company, JSJ Aesthetics, Lil B’s Custom Cleaning along with Jim Verge and the Verge Family are all sponsors of the #70 SS Motorsports Modified.
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Mohegan Sun 100 at NHMS will be place on Saturday, August 22nd. It will be broadcast live on FloRacing at 4:30pm ET.
