Lew's stout "300HP" is all painted up and waiting for a header.
Another one that is also waiting on a header is our 5.0 Mud Race build.
Actually we have numerous builds that will utilize our new header that American Racing Headers is building for us.
Next week production will begin and we will be adding this new header to our website for purchasing. ***Attention*** We really need our customers to get in there orders so we know roughly how many sets to build in this first batch. Normal timelines after the first batch will 4-8 week range.
Now, what's different about this header? Well, for starters this is what we deem as "The Best Damn" universal fit header for any 4.0 Jeep based cylinder head.
We designed this header to have long flowing runners that exit extremely tight against the back corner area of the block and oil pan area to clear driveshafts, etc. Yet, still utilize a big 1.75" primary to a 6 into 1 rotational firing order to a full 3.00" collector. As always, heavy .065" 304 Stainless steel tubing for that lifetime warranty, that's right, "NO CRACKING" after a few months like all the rest. The first version will be this one pictured(finished)1.75"(1-3/4")primaries, we will add a smaller 1.625"(1-5/8") next.
We wanted a design to enable big power potential, amazing sound quality and the ability to fit about anything from a CJ/SJ/YJ/XJ/ZJ/WJ, or even that custom TJ/LJ to an AMC car or retro swaps. These will all be going on most of our engine packages, race or street.
The American Racing Header organization of guys and gals have been an amazing addition to this entire area and all of us here at Newcomer Racing personally.
They make a great product, they give it their all, just like we do and they like to go fast as well!
