How about something totally different. Just when you think these AMC/Jeeps are tractor motors, it can always get worse!

Let's see what kind of power can be squeezed from this lawn mower engine with some added boost and maybe break some records along the way. More info to come next month or so.

With in a matter of months Newcomer Racing will be celebrating 25 years in business.

Before we celebrate that achievement, I(Keith Newcomer) will be celebrating 25 years of marriage tomorrow and 36 years together with Meghan Newcomer.

It's amazing how fast life travels. One minute you're trying to find your path in life to get started. The next, you're looking back at the crazy course you took to get to where your standing.

I know that path has many more obstacles, curves and mountains to climb. I also know there's not another person that I could have been paired with to make it on this crazy thing called life.

I don't put out many personal things since this is a business, but this is a big one. She has been here through thick and thin, long before we created Newcomer Racing as an official business.

That being said, we are taking a few day vacation on the Hawg, so you can count me out for the rest of this week. Orders will be going out this week and everyone returns next Monday.

Until then, everyone enjoy your 4th of July(250 years!) and try not to laugh to hard at these old pics!

"Monday Madness"

Monday's are the worst, so that being said let's just irritate everyone just a little bit more!

Billet cams(or lack of),

We are still waiting on our big order to get the drive gears Hobbed. This is the final step in the process and it is now requiring additional equipment to be engineered, machined and installed before they can be ground due to the machines physical size limits.

They have given us a finish timeline of four weeks to upgrade the machine and start grinding cams. They expect one additional week after the upgrades are finished to grind all of the pending cams.

All we can say is try to stay patient and let the process take it's course. We are still taking remaining cam orders on this batch and engine orders are still being taken, knowing that we are waiting on cams.

As you could expect we are waiting like everyone else for cams and have machined engines simply waiting for cams. Once cams arrive things will definetly get crazy on the assembly and dyno side.

CNC heads,

Yes we are going to start selling them again. The timeline on those will be in that two month range at this point.

CNC intake manifolds,

They are currently in process. This will include; curved and straight runner stock castings, and now our sheetmetal plenum intakes will be CNC as well.

Billet cam sync's,

We have been selling them with our engine builds up to this point. We absolutely plan on adding them to the website asap.

The "Mutt", she was a good one, for a long time, under some rather harsh conditions and provided us with tons of data for the benefit of everyone.
