Most everyone in the area and certainly everyone that has participated in the NorCal UAS the last 2-3 years; will already know this, but I have left California and now live in Nebraska.

NorCal UAS needs someone to step up to be the regional administrator in order for NorCal to have a series in 2024 and beyond.

I spoke with several individuals which I feel would make an excellent administrator, but so far there have been no takers.

NorCal has a new series / organization kicking off in 2024, The 209 kart series, that plans to run a series at (at least) two tracks. This would be an excellent opportunity to get with them and schedule a NorCal UAS series with them.

I will be shutting down this page in the next few weeks, but I am willing to hand it off to the next administrator.

Anyone interested should get in touch with Mark Bergfelt to get started.

“So this happened in Montana. I'm on my way to go to my interview this morning when I get pulled over by a police officer.

I am native American and my friend that was with me is black. Just saying.

Both brake lights decided to go out this time.

As he walked to the car and I was pulling out my stuff, he quickly said,

"Don't worry about pulling anything out. I just want you to know that your brake lights are out."

So I'm immediately upset, because I just got them replaced like last month.

So I explained to him how Firestone wants to charge me $600 just to run a test on the wiring of the car.

He looked at me like 😨 and told me to pop the trunk.

He checked the lights in the trunk and tapped them, but they didn't come on.

So he told me to pop the hood to check the relay box then asked me to get out to check the other one.

Then worked on the wiring under the dash.

He could've easily given me a ticket, but Officer Jenkins stepped out of officer role, and into mechanic role, and human role to make sure I was straight.

By the way HE FIXED THEM."

NorCal UAS & Jr UAS 2023 schedule:

May 6th Hill's Ferry
June 10th Hill's Ferry 1/4 point
July 1st Hill's Ferry
August 5th Hill's Ferry 1/4 point

No Drops
Must be a UAS member to race - Membership cards required at first race - absolutely NO EXCEPTIONS.

All UAS rules will be followed. www.unlimitedallstars.org

JR UAS will race with the local Yamaha KT class but will be scored separately. If the JR UAS meets the local Yamaha (IKF/WKA stock KT at 390 lbs), then they are also eligible to be scored with the local Yamaha class. If 4 or more Jr UAS enter, they can run their own class...Pending track approval.

*Although I think this will work, the schedule subject to change as needed depending upon weather...

So, this is a short schedule, but it allows the NorCal racers to travel to other regions if they want to chase national points, plus the UAS racers are always welcome at Hill's Ferry, so there are lots of opportunities for additional track time, but the four races above will be the official NorCal points races.

Hill's Ferry has been a great host to the UAS racers for many years now, let's support them as much as possible.
