Noda Day In May

Greetings to everyone, we hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during this horrible COVID-19 Pandemic.

Due to the stay at home order in place in North Carolina, our annual NoDa Day in MAY, will have to be postponed. But fear not, we will be moving it to the fall, so we just wanted to reach out to everyone involved. This will be our 10th year doing the festival, and were not going to give up easily, so please keep checking back with us as we will continue to update you as the situation continues to change.

In the meantime, please continue to pray for those involved, those who have lost family and loved ones.

Please continue to practice social distancing, washing your hands and wearing masks when needed, and I am sure we will be back to normal soon.

Lastly, please continue to support Crisis Assistance Ministry as I am sure they are in need now more than ever, as well as continue to support local artists & DJ's in the community.

We will get through this together, until then stay safe and be kind!

IT'S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN, CALLING ALL ARTIST AND VENDORS!!!

We hope you can participate in the 9th annual Noda Day in May!!
This year the event, which is always the first Saturday in May, falls on the 4th, which I hope brings another festive element to an already festive event!

We are looking to continue the theme of local art, and if this is you or you know someone who would be interested please feel free to share this email with them.
We always love to have people creating art the day of the event, so bring your work and make on the spot too!! Interested? Keep reading!
Participation requires that you register, ($25) and donate to Crisis Assistance Ministry (more on that later).

What you need to know:
Noda Day in May is a locally driven art centric, creative event that also raises money for Crisis Assistance Ministry. We block McDowell Street from 36th to 35th and have artist/vendors line each side of the street. In addition to our artists we have food trucks and dj’s.

On the day of the event all we ask tis that you donate a portion of your sales to Crisis Assistance Ministry at the end of the day….
Beyond that, we ask for you to come be a part of an event that is a staple of Noda…
We need you to make it the best year EVER…

When you register you are locking in your 10 x 10 space on either side of McDowell Street. The spaces are first come first serve the morning of the event.

You will be responsible for having a tent (not required, but recommended). Each vendor is responsible for their own tables and chairs. If you need electricity, it can be arranged, however you will need to provide your own drop cords and pay a $5 fee. Wi Fi is available, just let us know.

We typically block McDowell about 10 am; you will be able to pull your car in to unload, we just ask that you move it once you have unloaded.
On the day of the event you will register and receive a name tag with your company name and your name.
If you have any questions that day we always have a great group of volunteers (with identifying name tags) around to offer any help.
I will be sending out an email closer to the event with more detailed “day of” instructions, so if this is your first time, don’t fret.

We have had great turn out every year and hope that this is the best year yet.
