Are you thinking about buying a used RV?

But how do you know you're not buying a nightmare or a “money pit”? Some RVs look great on the outside but come to find out there are a lot of unseen issues.

The answer is to get an RV inspection! More importantly you need to get an RV inspection from a NRVIA certified inspector that are highly trained to find those hidden issues. You wouldn’t buy a home without getting a home inspection first so why wouldn’t you do that for your RV?

I’ve been asked why I became a certified RV Inspector considering that we now full time RV, don’t I get enough of it already???

Well, to be totally upfront and transparent, no, I don’t really ever get “enough of it”!

I became an inspector because knowledge is power. If I can help someone out by giving them some knowledge before they buy an RV, then I have empowered them to make a better decision for themselves! I believe this has become a very valuable service to be provided, and I love it!

There was a couple that was excited about their brand-new RV purchase. But when they got home, they noticed this on the roof of their RV. But it was too late to return to the seller because the papers were already signed. This is a perfect example of why a pre-purchase inspection is essential.
To fix this, the rubber roof must be torn off and replaced. If not, when traveling, the air bubbles could be ripped open, and it could cause the roofing material to be ripped off the RV.
