UPDATE: Subaru replaced the evaporator that was pretty much done. A/C working fine and seems to be holding. Hope it lasts long time! 😅

Had a great trip back out to Colorado. Finally heading back to Florida. Unfortunately, the AC gave out on her at 126k.

Brought her in yesterday in hopes that it was just something simple. First leak test showed nothing. Got her charged up on freon and ran good for about 30mins or so, then nothing but warm air again. Brought her back in this morning and they tested her a second time. Seems like there was a leak from the drain tube indicating possible evaporator problem.

Instead of having to spend a few more days in Colorado and wait for parts to come in, we're gonna push through the drive with one less creature comfort and get her looked at back home. 🥲
Sigh...
Anyways... stay tuned for some shots from the trip and updates!

The filter is something to check and consider changing out, if needed, to prevent any contaminants from entering the cabin and improving overall air quality! Not too difficult to change out!
