Five years later and the R32 is finally back together. There’s not a bolt on this thing I haven’t touched.
Once you realize how much time, effort, and modification goes into a project like this, you also
realize it’s important to make sure it’s properly covered for what it actually is.

Today we drove from H&R Special Springs, North America in Bellingham, down to Griot’s Garage in Tacoma. We took some absolutely epic shots!

This weekend is Low & Joe with Griot’s Garage and H&R Special Springs, North America it’s great to see the black r32. And we are about to take it on the longest drive yet. Lol

I also have to say, Washington, your weather is amazing. It was mid 90s in NC when I left.

Today I put the Snap-on Tools CT861AM through its paces. I little getting use to on the rocker trigger, but it performed beautifully! I did a full teardown on this VR6 engine. It didn’t break head bolts loose but that’s to be expected hahah.

I 3d printed a piston holder which I’m excited about. Needs some revision but overall not a bad first crack. Same with the camshaft and crankshaft holders.

Now off to the machine shop for the head and the block.

Also a super fun discovery on the vr6. Wiseco Performance Products Pistons!

This is the first dizzy vr6 I’ve ever worked on. Is it worth an OBD2 update? Our timeline is not great so adding a ton of work is t something I’m trying to do. lol
