A quick note about parts orders
For the love of everything holy, PLEASE don’t message me if you’re going to be like this.
This is also a big reason why I prefer to be paid for parts before I remove them.
I understand that I missed a phone call in this particular situation. That’s on me, and I’ll own that. However, we had already discussed the parts, pricing, timeline, and everything else through text. I had the parts ready to go by the deadline we discussed, and I was prepared to move forward with the order.
What I can’t do is spend hours removing parts, getting everything ready, and turning down other work based on someone telling me they’re buying something, only for the order to fall through at the last minute.
This happens far too often, and I’m getting to the point where I simply won’t remove or pull parts without payment upfront.
I’m a one-man operation. I handle the cars, parts removal, cleaning, inventory, pictures, listings, messages, shipping, and everything else that comes with running this business. I’m happy to work with people, communicate, and make things as easy as possible—but I also have to protect my time and my business.
If you want me to pull something specifically for you, payment upfront guarantees that the part gets pulled and set aside for you.
I appreciate every person who understands that and respects the time that goes into getting these parts out. It makes doing business a hell of a lot easier for everyone.
