People have been posting about how no one appreciates what is done for them and how entitled people feel. I just want to share something that happened recently to show that not everyone feels this way.
About a week or 2 ago a young couple came in because their car was overheating. They were on their way from Indiana to the Canton area because he had a job interview. The car was low on coolant and the couple looked like things were a little tough, so John filled the radiator, gave them some coolant to take with them and sent them on their way without charging them. The young woman cried when John did not charge them. We thought that was the end of it, but hoped he had a good interview.
UPS showed up the other night with a package addressed John at our address. Inside was a beautiful handmade hat and a note thanking him for lending a hand when one was needed.
