Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mobile Mechanic to provide on-site maintenance and repair services for a variety of equipment and vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs, excellent diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently in diverse environments. This role offers the opportunity to work dynamically across different locations, ensuring equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, machinery, and equipment at various job sites.
Diagnose mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic devices.
Troubleshoot electrical systems and ensure proper functioning of all components.
Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they lead to breakdowns.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation for each repair or maintenance task.
Collaborate with clients or site managers to assess repair needs and provide recommendations.
Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
Manage parts inventory and order necessary supplies to complete repairs efficiently.
Experience
Proven experience as a mechanic, preferably with mobile or field service roles.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, including ohmmeters, for electrical troubleshooting.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, electrical wiring, and hydraulic components.
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and quality workmanship.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel frequently to various locations.
Prior experience working independently in diverse environments is highly desirable.
