The Paige Lynch memorial didn’t go the way we planned but that’s racing. Rowen has a great car leading until his chain snapped.

In the 600’s we were really fast and definitely a top 5 car until or night changed running 4th when Wayne Scott had a lack of talent moment and drove over top of us like a monster truck to get through the corner. Grave digger style and so glad it wasn’t worse than what it could have been except a tore up race car and a bruised up body. Super surprised that the car could still roll and was driven to just finish the race and managed a 13th place. Wasn’t just us and don’t mind speaking up for everyone who gets driven dirty by this driver. A simple burp of the throttle would have avoided us getting $3500 in damage. This wasn’t a racing deal we were already turnt in the corner and set.

Just pay close attention to the video. I will promise you this Scott’s Auto Racing, store this video as a memory bank moment because we owe you the same a few times now. We try to race everyone cleanly and will not put our car in bad situations out of respect for the driver and all other drivers. Race how you want to be raced which is common respect. That rule obviously doesn’t apply to you and the day will come that you’re going to get yours and don’t want hear anything about it.

The 19 is ready to repeat this weekend 10/10 at Middleford Speedway for the 4th Annual unofficial Paige Lynch Memorial. Last year we swept this $5091 payday and was the biggest race we won in my over 40 A main feature win career. Not about the money, but for a racing family and friend that is near and dear to our hearts. We are locked, loaded and on a mission to go back to back. Can’t wait to strap into this rocket ship and hammer down.

Rowen in the 9 has something to prove as well. The 9 crew has been hard at trying to make the car perfect unfortunately breaking a chain the last time out.

Super epic night last night for Warfield Racing winning the 600’s from a very stout field and Rowen winning two back to back features in the sling shot.

In the 600’s we won the heat with a blistering 15.5 heat race lap time setting ourselves up for a redraw for the feature. We ended up pulling a 9 to start us 9th and had our work cut out for us and was in search of a top 5. From the drop of the green we started moving forward lap by lap working my way to 2nd to pace Kyle Spence the best in the game who had made quick work to get out front starting 3rd.

Half way the car started coming in and felt the 19 could go anywhere on the very racy track. Tried everything we could to get around Kyle as I felt we had a car to win and and had to time our exact moment to pass him cleanly. We got a caution with 8 to go and knew this may be our only shot. As the green dropped I set the car to run high and made up my mind in turn 3-4 we I was going to send it and either end up in the wall or pass him on the top.

As soon and we hit the top the car hooked up
and shot off like a rocket putting us in 1st and setting a new pace. A few restarts came but we were good enough to retain the win and clean air made us faster setting a new 600 track record at 15.453 seconds.

A shout out to Middleford speedway for giving us a track we could race on and also the thorough tech from tires, fuel and heads of the top 3 cars.

Rowen was equally impressive gaining speed the entire night. Super smooth driving and keeping the car where the speed was.

With Bridgeport Speedway hosting a special tribute race this weekend, we want to respect that event and the teams and drivers who plan to participate. As a result, we have decided to remove the 358 Modifieds from Saturday night’s program at Middleford Speedway.
